Fundamentalism

It makes you crazy.

It makes you think not only that this is what God wants, but that you have the skills necessary to circumcise an 8 year old boy.
Deputies recovered from inside the home a sheathed, black-handled knife with a blade measuring about 3 inches, Farr said. -- The Oregonian
Bravest kid ever.

God.

So many psychopaths in Washington. Must be the clean air.

Which recent research shows is not so darn harmful

Holy Cow!
And I mean that in a most secular colloquial way.

Kids, listen, seriously, if Dad ever pulls out a Bible AND a Knife, run. Just run.

Trust a non-fundamentalist to overlook the postive aspects of fundamentalism.

How much to fundamentalists protest when you wage an offensive war against China? None. Do you see them burning down the university, the library, and the research lab? No! They don't need any of those things in the first place. The y don't do science! You just need to build them lots of temples to keep them happy. You want to raise taxes? No problem. The fundies won't complain.

I think you intentionally highlight the negative aspects of fundamentalism. I bet the protesters put you up to it.

My comments above are meant to highlight the awesomeness in choosing 'fundamentalism' as your government type in Sid Meier's Civilization II (fundamentalism is less awesome in Civ III).

Good thing you put that post script in there Mike, not even I--an uncontested Civilization GOD--understood what the hell you were talking about.

Christ, the post-script looks great too *snicker*. I wish that Blogger's 'preview' actually, you know, previewed what a comment will look like. I checked. Damn you, deceitful, lying Blogger!

Skills? Who needs skills when the hand of God will steady thy hand!

His choice of operating rooms is interesting, though...
